The Little Italy Lodge Scholarship Program

The La Famiglia Scholarship Fund has been established through the generosity of the Little Italy Lodge members. The Fund was established to provide financial aid to members, spouses of members, children and grandchildren of Little Italy Lodge members in good standing, according to the by laws of the Little Italy Lodge.

The Fund provides financial aid to high school seniors who are planning to continue their pursuit of higher education. The Fund will also consider applications from students who are currently enrolled in studies at accredited Colleges or Universities. Financial aid will apply to undergraduate studies and not graduate studies.

Currently the La Famiglia Fund provides two (2) scholarships to recipients who have been graded by the Scholarship Committee on the following criteria:

1. Grading of an essay on an assigned topic.
2. Volunteer and Community involvement
3. Financial need, as determined by the FAFSA Report
4. Grade Point Average (Student must have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA to qualify)

How to apply

1. Applications are available on or before the First Lodge membership meeting in January each year.
2. Applications must be completed and returned by May lst of each year.
3. Contact the Lodge President to receive an application or email a request on the Lodge Website.

Note: The two recipients will be notified by the Lodge President on or about August Ist. All financial awards will be mailed directly to the respective institutions.
