and can easily extend 70, even 80 years into the past.

Often, people seek out their roots, the stories of their ancestors' lives. But such cannot be found in texts or genealogy archives. To find out what ancestors were like as people, their personalities and experiences, you have to find the people who knew them. And so many people in the Little Italy Lodge have long and detailed memories of those they grew up with in "The Neighborhood".Many of the faces on this page and other pages are of those who do remember and who love to tell the stories of the old days.
